Anyone at UC Davis taking Design classes.

If anyone is taking Design 001 at UC Davis, I have the required books that I’m selling. The books are:

“Make Design Matter” by Davis Carlson
“Design: An Introduction” by Karl Aspelund

These books are required for Design 001 at UC Davis, so if anyone is planning on taking the class and needs these books, reply to this post.

Thank you.

Hello! I’m not in need of the books, but I was wondering if you could give me any information about the Design major at UC Davis? I am not really finding much on the internet and I would like to know if it a good program. Thank you!

Hello panematiclove. The Design program here at UC Davis is a very engaging. I can say from my experience that I have learned better about the fundamentals of design and how it is incorporated in society. I also improved my drawing skills while taking the core classes for the major. If you plan on majoring in design, you can expect both lectures and studio classes (but they are the most fun classes in my opinion).

Thank you! I was also wondering if it would be easy to get a job with a design major diploma? Also, would it be easy to switch into that major, even though I’ve heard that it is difficult to get the classes you want, and that people are always wait listed. Thank you again!
