Was just wondering if anyone solidified their decision either way to attend Northeastern or not after attending an Accepted Student Day. Does anyone have any thoughts or impressions about the school that swayed you either way? Just curious, thank you.
My daughter choose NEU after a wonderful accepted student day. They do a great job at these.
@kiddie Thanks for your reply. What did your daughter like about NEU specifically? Did you, as a parent, have any concerns?
Some of the selling points for her were - the honors program (nicer housing - which we saw on a tour that day), the undeclared program (she was not sure of a major), the co-op program (the head did a great presentation), the location within the city, good food in the dining hall, and the feeling that the other students were “her tribe.”
No concerns - we parents also went and were impressed with everything - it was also very affordable (she got a great dean’s scholarship).
The undeclared program is incredible. I wonder if you visited my room? The one with the Disney quotes on the walls…
Don’t think so - we did this back in 2012!
