i'm just waiting for my financial aid package, but i'm pretty sure i'm going to knox :)

I'm still thinking of whether i will go or not. I really like Knox eventhough i haven't got a chance to visit yet( i'm int student and studying in uk). but i got my financial aid package. Lovelykittycat, i thought they must have told people about the financial aid they receive in the admission notification? Mine did,

good luck deciding :)

i applied priorty, so at that time all they could give me was a scholarship. FAFSA wasn't availiable until January. the FA office called us and said it would be about two more weeks.

I'm still deciding... but I'm supposed to get my finaid package soon. That will probably help me determine. Any thoughts on why you like Knox College, lovelykittycat?

i'm attending Knox next year :)

& i also got a call from my admissions counselor today. :)

I visited in October, so that helped me make the decison. It's a very pretty campus with good facilities. Everyone was really nice, several students came up to us and offered to answer any questions. I really liked the class I sat it on.

Knox was very communicative. When I was in England over the summer, my dad called and said "Knox College called." A week or two later, he told me the same thing. The day after I got home, they called again. Even after that my admissions counselor has called me a few times. He always offers to answer questions, asks about school, what I want to major in, etc. They actually care, wanted to talk to me, and it was surprising. No other college did that.

One of the main things that drew me to the school was their curriculum, the variety of classes & options. I don't like being told I have to take something that I really don't want to take, Knox has several choices so I can find a class that fills a requirement, but I'm also interested in taking. I really like the 3 class courseload, not 5-6 like at other schools. I find it alot easier to focus on a few things at a time, rather than many things. There are also alot of extracurricular activities/clubs/organizations that I could participate in. For example, I'm going to major in English... Knox has; 3 webzines, an online literary journal, literary magazine, newspaper, etc. There's alot of opportunities there :)

I hope that helps a little. Good luck :)

How about economics and psychology/sociology at Knox?
