Anyone Attending the Open House?

I'm from California, and I plan to visit Tufts on the 19th of April. I actually signed up for an overnight and listed on the admitted students website that I was going to bring two others with me.

This was when I got confused. If I bring two others with me, will they be staying overnight on campus as well? The site didn't ask me to input my credit card number for plane tickets, so I'm guessing that the school is paying for the visit. I'm only saying this because I'm attending Bowdoin's Open House on the 23rd and they're sending me free tickets next week.
How does this work?

I don't think Tufts is paying for your tickets. They just provide housing, meals, and other smalls stuff. But I'm guessing you'll be visiting many New England colleges anyways, so you could probably do it in 1 or 2 trips.

When they say over night stay, they mean for the admitted student to stay with a current student in a dorm. Your friends will need to find their own accomendations. Tufts is not paying for the visit. You will need to take care of your own travel arrangements. Tufts may be paying for some students' visit for recruiting purpose.

We are driving our daughter to Tufts, she will be doing an overnight at Tufts while we stay in a hotel.

You wouldn't want your parents to stay overnight in the dorm with you anyway.

That's true. Thanks for clearing up the confusion.

I just wanted to put an offer out there as a few people PM'd me and asked... I'd be willing to meet with any of you who are coming to the April Open House -- especially those who are particularly interested in the IR major or the Tisch College of Citizenship & Public Service. I can't promise I can meet with everyone, but I'd love to try to find a time to make it work. Let me know by PM.

Will do!!!!!
