Anyone been accepted RD yet?

Yeah... I hate to break it to you, but if you didn't get the folder, you most likely didn't get merit aid. What were your stats?

ahhhh too bad. but I still like bentley a lot.

anyway, my stats were:
SAT I: 680 m, 720 cr, 780 w (2180)
SAT II: 730 650 650
gpa 3.6 uw....basically all honors classes (my school weights weirdly)
3 AP's senior year- lit, spanish, macroecon
not too many EC's, a few solid ones (karate for 8 years, karate instructor, community service club 3 years, tutor...)
good interview

whoa my stats are lower than ur and they gave me half tuition

do you have to turn in the FAFSA to get merit aid as well as need-based?

no ,they consider every application for merit

bentley does scholarships very weird, i think it's mostly on standardized test schools and gpa

if they're based on standardized test scores, shouldn't a 2180 get me something? I'm pretty far above their averages....

Always, it is a combination of GPA and test scores AND other intrinsic factors. For example. maybe they want more females. Maybe, for the year, they want certain athletes or those interested in entrepreneurship. Who knows. However, it isn't just GPA and SATs alone usually.

did anyone get full tuition?

I am a female. but anyway, I get your point. thanks for responding.

p.s. looks like I'm going to GW's elliott school w/10,000 a year! so excitedddd

AlwaysCocoCola13, I live in the Wash DC area. If you are interested in business, I personally believe that Bentley is better than GW. I like GW for a number of majors except for business.

I'm actually planning to major in international relations. maybe double major with economics or something. Haven't quite decided....

I got in with presidential scholarship. What i wanted to know was if i was qualified to get the scholarship, does that make me qualified for the honors program?

Hello!

I currently attend Bentley, and I can give you some input from a Bentley student's perspective.

Don't feel pressured at all to choose a major right away at Bentley. You actually do not need to declare a major until junior year, and the curriculum here gives you plenty of courses in each area so you will be able to decide in time. International studies as well as economics are two very interesting majors here. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

No, that does not necessarily mean you are automatically in the honors program. However, you can apply to be in the program once you attend Bentley, and it is based on your performance here as a college student rather than focusing on your high school transcript.
