Anyone been accepted to Pitt from a CC?

I'm looking at a few more classes over this summer, and few more this fall, then applying to transfer to Pitt for the spring.

Was wondering if anyone has gotten into Pitt from a CC personally, or if any Pitt students currently know anyone who has.

My gpa is floating around a 3.0 so I'm hopefully going to just stay there. I spoke with a woman from Pitt and she said to get into CBA all you need is atleast 30 credits and a 3.0, but I really don't want to get my hopes up, and I'm not really sure why. I applied as a senior in high school a few years ago and didn't get in, but as far as academics go, I knew I wasn't going to, now I stepped my **** up a bit and am really hoping to get in.

Just looking for some words of encouragement or any info. Thanks!

I just got accepted to Pitt for Fall '13 from an out of state community college! I had about 80 credits at the time of my application and my GPA was 3.09. Honestly, I think your chances for Pitt are very good!

For CBA they will want to see a Calculus grade and an Economics grade. I had applied with a 4.0 from community college but they delayed acceptance pending my business calculus grade. Good luck!
