Anyone have any experience with these? Were they warm/comfortable/suitable?
Did anyone see/find better deals once they got to Cornell?
Is that large package worth $200 O_O

I can’t vouch for the quality of the stuff. But I can tell you from what I have spent on my d’s dorm stuff. $200 is a good deal for everything they have in there if the quality is good.

Of course, if the fabric is so scratchy that it is uncomfortable, then it really doesn’t matter what the cost is.

i ordered from there, and they sent the stuff to my house, and it looks pretty nice.

freshman year, i got a set from bed bath and beyond for $99 - had two pillowcases, one body pillow-pillowcase, two twin-XL sheets, two flat sheets and a comforter. REALLY good deal.

im pretty sure my stuff from home will fit “XL” twins. ive fit regular sheets over extra long beds before. no need to buy new stuff for me :)

I think you could get nicer stuff with more thread counts yourself. Feedback I have received is those linens from school tend to be not as soft. My daughter is particular about color and feel of her sheets. We got great deals off online shopping.

Cornell uses the same linen service my first college did. I used it my freshman year and I didn’t like it. The quality wasn’t great and the comforter wasn’t warm enough. I only used it for a year. For my sophomore year, I shopped around and got fantastic deals on linens and spent much less than $200.

Ah ok thanks for the heads up you guys =]
Yeah I think I’m gonna shop around at BBB too

this 10char

D ordered hers last night but got the 300 count all-cotton upgrade for $10. I’ll let you know next week when it arrives.

^^ Thanks woody! Please keep me updated.

I ordered it about 3 weeks ago and I think it’s fine. I love the color combo and it really did save me a lot of time and money. When trying to buy the pieces separately, it came out to much more. Then again, i’m really not that picky about thread count, as long as it looks good and I can get a good nights sleep. by the time i usually get in bed, i’m so tired that I don’t really mind a low thread count sheet. I love my set

they sell these amazing jersey cotton sheets at target and bed bath. i have them for my room at home and they’re amazing, sooo warm and comfy. and cheap. so i think i’m just going to get those.

They have really good deals at Target if you want to check them out. A set of Jersey Cotton sheets (pillow case, flat sheet, fitted for twin xl) is 10-20 bucks varying by location/sale. I have a set and they’re super soft and keep you warm in the winter. I actually had two sets but gave one to my cousin so she could have it to use at Case. I also have a comforter from there for my twin bed that I got for 20 bucks. That way you can mix and match according to your style too.

300 count sheets are nice - the rest of the stuff is being returned. Service was incredibly bad.

I got the student starter pack and they seem pretty nice. A little rough at first, but like all cotton sheets, will soften once washed.
