Hey! So I got into the LIM program with Union and Albany Medical College. However, I don't really have anyone to talk to about it. If anyone could tell me about their experience, or is considering going there, I'd love to talk! (on this thread or through PM)

bump!! I would really like to talk to anybody who could sort of give me the pros/cons of the program. I recently got into Haverford, which I really like, and I don’t know if I should choose Union/AMC over this great school, so I would really like some experiences/perspectives so that I can make an informed decision.

I just got into that program and just accepted it. I know that one big pro is that you can get 3 degrees in 8 years which is a huge positive. Other than that i have just asked some people from union how the school is and they said they loved it there. I would accept this program over Haverford, if you really do want to become a doctor. Haverford is a great school but union is just as good and you have the guarantee of med school in the union program, which is no easy thing to do the regular way. One con that i have been hearing quite a lot is that there is a lack in diversity but i have heard this mainly from reviews online, although i think Haverford would have the same con because it is equal in size and is also a liberal arts school.

hey yeah! I am definitely leaning towards Union/AMC at this point. I am going to do an overnight next week though and go to the accepted students day. If I like my experience, then I am accepting!! I guess we’ll be classmates?! Exciting!!
