Anyone doing EA to Case? Just curious, when do you think we'll get our results by?

January 15. Good luck! I still haven't heard from them and I am anxiously awaiting a response.

Same here...hope for the best. Also, did u receive any conformation as to whether or not they have even received your application?

When I went on the website to check the status of my application, they sent me back an email saying that they had received my application; however, they still needed my high school transcript to process my application. They did say that they probably had, but that it still needs to be scanned into their computer system.

Oh okay, but I applied through the common app....so I can't exactly check my status.

My son checked his application on line and it said it wasn't complete. He thought it was, and so he called them. They checked and said it was complete. The on-lone thing seems to be down completely now. Apparently they are swamped with applications.

My son checked his EA ap online, said incomplete, but was incorrect. When we called it was complete. Site's not working to well. And I get the impression that they are swamped. What kind of stats are you guys applying with? Just curious.

Not too good, but I'm hoping for the best :D....

Radar, I'm applying with a 3.94 GPA, 1380 SAT, 31 ACT, quite a few EC's, a pretty good essay (it's kind of hard to be unbiased about this stuff :) ) and a couple great teacher recs. By the way, the counselor from Case finally emailed me back (after 2 weeks!) and I had to have my guidance counselor fax a copy of my Counselor Recommendation Form on my last day of school before Christmas break. Case seems to be pretty swamped and rather disorganized this year. I say this because my HS counselor received a note in mid-October from Case saying that they received everything, including the Counselor Form. Then then told me, over a month later, that they were missing a part. I think I'm going to go crazy!!!! Oh well. Anyway, good luck to everyone. Let us know when you get your letters. Hasta Luego!

i'm applying with a 1350, 4.34 Weighted GPA, decent recs, and very good ec's

Chelsea, now you make me nervous that maybe they don't have everything. Hope that's not the case. Your stats are very like my sons, and I'm confident you'll both be in.

Radar, I'm sure everything will be fine. I just seem to have an amazing streak of luck! :D haha! Anyway, thanks for the vote of confidence there. I think all of us on this thread (including your son and kitman 15) will be accepted. It's just a matter of when we get our letters in the mail. By the way, Merry Christmas!

Same to you, and as I said in the other thread, I hope this can be my late christmas gift. :D Anyways, I was just wondering, does case have a deferring thing for EA? Like, do people get deferred into the RD pool, or is it just a final decision?

jediknight, i agree about the christmas present part! :) to your question about EA, i don't think that case has a deferral system. anyway, good luck and keep in touch. Bueno Suerte!

Merry Christmas everybody. I hope the New Year finds all you kids in the great school of your choice, and all your hard work will lead to success.

You too Radar! I guess bottom line is.... if you've worked hard and really want to get somewhere, you'll get it.

I would liek to meet you guys if we all end up getting in and going to Case!

Haha definately...So, what majors are you guys looking into?

My son wants Comp. Eng, Comp Sci,or Math

jediknight05, I'm looking into social work or psychology. Interestingly enough, Case has one of the top doctoral programs in psychology in the state of Ohio. Their masters program for social work is accredited too. Oh, and kitman, I definately agree. Once we're all at Case we should go out for coffee! (sounds like something high intellectuals like us would enjoy doing! :D haha!)

Haha, BME major here
