I did it last year. It’s a lot of fun. Basically I had class from 9-1, and could spend the rest of the day doing whatever I wanted. It can get a bit boring with all the free time, its just a matter of finding a way to spend your time. Luckily last year the Olympics were on so we spent a lot of time with that.

Thanks Embenjamin14,Are you now going to cuse? and how many kids are actually part of the program?

If you’re talking about the Summer Start program for incoming Freshman. It’s 6 weeks long and there are approximately 450 Freshman who attend. You can receive 7 college credits. All Freshman are located in the same Dorm so you can make new friends.

The cost of attendance in SummerStart is $6,844. You may be eligible to receive additional financial aid if you have received a Syracuse University Grant. To calculate your grant, multiply your Full Academic Year “Syracuse University Grant” by 20%. You may receive up to $6,200 toward the cost of the program. This is an additional grant to attend SummerStart and will not affect your financial aid for the academic year.
