Hi,
I am an IB student in my senior year. I got good reports last year, all around 40 pts. But this year, our school changed the administration and teachers, apparently the teachers do not appreciate what I have done so far, I only got 4 in 2 subjects which I excelled last year (7 or 6).I have no idea what kind of method the teachers used to give me this grade. Anyway, my report this term is kinda ugly. And last year was nice.
I am applying EA now, is there anyone knows that how do US Universities treat IB predicted scores(especially u of notre dame ?)? Can I still get in good unis with good transcripts but a 35 predicted score? I worry that the new teachers will give the same grades for my Predicted scores.
Or is it a good idea to explain my situation to the uni? well... I dont think so. Anyway i ll talk to my consellor first
thank you guys! cheers

I don’t think it matters too much. My school doesn’t even do predictions

Why don’t you talk to the teachers that marked you down? From what I’ve gathered, colleges definitely look at your predicted score- while they also do pay attention to your transcript.

I think you should still apply EA if your predicated score are 35/42, otherwise you can work harder and push up your grade in this few months and apply RD at Dec.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will talk to him and try whatever works to boost my scores. Then I won’t regret even if things remain the same.
