Anyone else accepted into UConn as a Pre-Pharmacy Major??

Im really excited about getting accepted into UConn as a pre-pharmacy major!! Just wondering if anyone else is accepted into this program and if anyone is definitely going to UConn! Huskies - Class of 2010!!

congrats...i go to uconn, and it is quite an accomplishment to make into the program....few do.

thank you! how do you like uconn? what are you majoring in?

I love it....accounting, im a junior.

how are the dorms and how is the food at uconn?

Decent and decent. Some dorms are really nice, as my roomate just said depends where you get placed. The food is supposed to be good in comparison to other colleges but its just ok, but then again I am used to good home cooking.

The food varies among eating halls. Towers, South, and northwest have the best eating halls while putnam food i horrible (my opinion). Dorms for your first year are not going to be great, but it is likely that you can be placed in a nice suite your sophmore year.

i'm going to uconn for pre-pharmacy too! :)

awesomee!! are u going to do the thing where u live with other pharmacy students?

hey i got accepted to the prepharm at Uconn too... but im not too sure i wanna go. Arnt you guys worried about the 3.5 GPA that u need to achieve in order to enter the school of pharmacy at Uconn? For those at Uconn, is 3.5 extremely hard to achieve?

I got into Northeastern U, and it guarantees 6 yrs for the degree... so i need some help deciding :/

3.5 isnt hard but you do need to do a lot of work and keep up with the really tough competition. If you keep up with the work and truely study you should be fine.

yeh im worried about the 3.5 too, but i really love uconn and im gonna try really hard to keep it up, while having some fun too!
