<p>My friend was accepted yesterday. 3.98 unweighted gpa and a 35 on the acts.</p>
<p>I was accepted two days ago...pretty pumped. I'm from Ohio so it's good to know that being OOS didn't hurt me.</p>
<p>My d received her acceptance to the COE this week. She has a 4.0 GPA, many EC's and a 35 composite on ACT.</p>
<p>Has the admissions staff told anyone that only those who far exceed the averages -- in terms of test scores, courseload and GPAs -- will be admitted before the publicly posted start date of November 9?</p>
<p>don't know, but a few on here who have already been accepted have avg. stats of those admitted freshmen, but do not "far exceed the averages." Remember that regional admissions officers review applications as well, so depending on what region you are from, there might be more or less applicants, slowing down or speeding up the process. It just takes them a while to review things, I think.</p>
