Anyone else apply early? ED/EA?

<p>I was accepted also! I’m very happy to hear it after getting rejected the day before by my ed school. I really like Clark though; it’s one of my favorites out of the schools i have looked at :slight_smile: I also got the Traina Award. I’m very excited!!!</p>

<p>My daughter was accepted early action yesterday and offered both the Traina Scholarship ($80,000 over four years) and the Stanley Hall Scholarship ($12,000) over four years. We have not yet visited Clark but are now going to seriously check it out. She is interested in studying psychology/theatre and currently has an internship at NIMH in Bethesda, MD.</p>

<p>Her stats are as follows:</p>

<p>GPA: 3.85 UW, 4.42 W
SAT: 1940 (710 M, 610 CR, 620 W)
ECs: Theatre, piano, singing, dancing, camp counselor (two summers), mentor for struggling students at her large diverse public school, volunteer at day care center for disabled children
8 APs, including US History, Government, Psychology, Stats, Literature, Lang., Spanish, Envir. Science
Awards/Honors: numerous for top grades and service at her high school, NHS, participation in local theatre group (15 plays and three mentions in on-line reviews of her performances).</p>

@dancingwriter did you only need the amount you received? I received a higher scholarship ($20,000/yr) but I still cannot afford Clark.

@YOLOOLOY I didn’t apply for financial aid, which is probably why I received only $5000. And no, I cannot afford Clark. The only way I can afford it is if I am awarded the LEEP scholarship. I’m hoping to be named a finalist in a few months, but we’ll have to see. It is quite competitive.

@dancingwriter I dont think I should have applied for FA. No use. And yeah…Even I am eagerly waiting for the finalists’s names for the LEEP scholarship to be short-listed.
