Anyone else applying to Wes using common app?

Nope, no supplemental essay. At least, there wasn't last year.

Wesleyan Is My New Favorite Place!!!!!1

there's no supplements just common app

Are any of you submitting supplemental essays?

I'm a homeschooler, so I already have to submit an absurd amount of supplementary info on my education. :-/

Another one of my many questions: Can I submit creative writing as a supplement? On the site for the supplemental materials they only name dance, film, visual art, music, and science/math.

Just a question- are all the decisions mailed on dec. 15th for EDs or is it possible that i might expect it to come a few days before the 15th?

Some people last year got it a few days before Dec. 15... mine came on December 15 though. :)

I wouldn't expect it before the 15th, somehow they manage to get it there that day.

do u have to submit the preapp?

Yes I believe you do, easy stuff on the preapp and then the common app. See what the website says.

only one essay though?

yes one essay and personal statement, just follow directions for common app.

good luck

Has anybody read "The Gatekeepers"? It's a great report on the Wes Admissions policy, if you want to get in :)

if they mail decisions on the 15th and I live in MA, when do you expect I would get it?

last year they mailed my D's on the 13 (we live in NY) and she got it on the 15. Next week will be here before you know it.

I Got In!!!

That's Just Awesome, Congratulations!!!

congrats!

today i mailed in my ED II statement, so maybe i'll end up going to wes too

Congrats to anyone who has been accepted ED!!
