<p>I'm obsessed with Stanford. I want to know more about everything about it. I search for every website that could illuminate the mysterious college. I dream about being there. I want to go now!</p>
<p>Anyone else want to skip high school and go now?</p>
<p>I can't believe I'm in! AHHHHHH! It's like a lucid dream and I want to be really careful to not wake up.</p>
<p>lol, yeah, I've been doing the same thing. I started by reading the viewbook, which unfortunately lasted me no more than 30 minutes. Too bad the wikipedia article on Stanford is so short. I also read the Stanford webpage and did a Google (Stanford product!) image search for beautiful pictures of the campus. I then read everything in my envelope again. Of course, I've already put the Stanford decal on my car. Yes, I'm obsessed. It's probably not too healthy, but I LOVE THE SCHOOL! After looking at more pictures, I wondered who would possibly want to go anywhere else? It's paradise on earth. <em>breathe</em> There. That's what I've been doing.</p>
<p>I'm glad that I'm not alone in my unhealthy obsession. :D</p>
<p>And yes, I actually pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming on the 15th after I got my decision.</p>

I actually found tank tops. </p>
<p>we don't have an official mascot - we've been teh Stanford Cardinal (color, not bird) since the 70s when we willingly changed it from Indian for political correctness (yay). some atheletes tried to petition for Griffins(some greek monster thing) but it failed, we're still cardinal. the tree is a member of the band and it's totally awesome, but no one actually says "go tree" at games or anything. until we get there, anyway.</p>

<p>Did anyone else in Massachusetts NOT get the mail yet? I just recently moved and the transferring mail thing is not working. I guess I have to wait until after Jan 4 to tell Stanford of my new address and maybe have them resend the mail. :-(</p>
