Anyone else been utterly screwed over by their scheduling department?

My whole school suffered from a scheduling fiasco back in 9th grade when 3 weeks into the school year the school decided to switch scheduling systems completely, going from completely 4 x 4 block to an A/B hybrid schedule with some 4 x 4 classes. It was a mess because with the revamp a lot of people got booted out of classes they already had with nothing (or something bizarre) to replace it. The new schedule made it impossible for me to take Honors Algebra II so I had to take regular + some dumb elective. Also, there are certain courses that are set in stone for specific blocks every year like the APs, which usually ALL occur 1st and 2nd block, so sometimes its impossible to take AP English and AP Calc, etc. There are a few that are later in the day, but the "serious" ones are all at the same time.

Of course there are conflicts that occur every year. Somehow I get Graphic Design on my schedule every year, yet I've never signed up for it. I always have to switch out. It's also possible to have conflicts to the point where it's almost impossible to complete the graduation requirements if you're in a magnet program. Sucks.

1 more schedule to screw up, then I'm done with this place.

The kids are just as much of a problem as the department. This has only happened to me once, but I couldn't take an AP due to lack of interest. Not a big deal, but w/e.

They decided to completely revamp the schedules last year, so instead of the system that worked perfectly fine the year before, there are like 10 different schedule rotations. I've gone to wrong classes multiple times b/c the school decided to switch around the day's schedule without informing anyone.
