Just watched the last episode along with the behind the scenes special. I’m all verklempt. I will miss this show.
Me too. It was a very sweet show.
I just finished season three, but I imagine I’ll be sad when it ends. It’s so great.
I’m not quite through Season 3, so I have a ways to go. My husband likes it, but not as much as I do, so we’ve been slow getting through it.
I thought it was a bit dumb when we started watching it. However, we were stressed about coronavirus stuff and it was relaxing. It grew on both me and my wife. We are quite liking it.
Running off the end of a show is something that happens a lot. I cannot stand the large number of advertisements on regular TV so now we watch a lot of Netflix.
Yep. Love the show!
We just finished season 3. The writing is sooooo good.
Yes. Very sad to see it go. I really did become very sweet.
We found Schitts Creek last summer but so glad we did! The actors together with the funny/sweet stories made us fans. We watched the finale last night but DVRd the behind the scenes. Both Alexis and Jocelyn actresses really needed their roles. Dan Levy said they saw many actresses for Alexis, Annie was perfect! This morning I watched a cute EW segment, Dan and Noah wedding cake tasting (sorry I don’t know how to share). Made me want cake!
Just a wonderfully funny, sweet and impeccably written show.
We will miss it!
@3sonsmom I loved the story about Annie/Alexis too. She was ready to give up on acting. That would have been a shame since she was perfect as Alexis. I’ve read she’s going to be starring in a new sitcom. Schitt’s Creek really was great for her. It was nice to root for a show where the actors seem like really nice people.
On my. - I read the thread title as real life relationships breaking up over the ending of the show.
It’s been such a sweet show and, although we haven’t watched the final season yet, I couldn’t imagine how it was causing break ups.
whew
Yes, yes, yes. I remember the first few episodes I thought, “What is this???”. My friend told me to stick with it. So glad I did! I watch it on Netflix, so I have a bit before the last season. As the parent of a gay son, I cried so many times with the beauty of how they’ve told David’s story. The “A Little Bit Alexis” song had me dying laughing this last season - I can watch that clip over and over again and never get enough. There are so many wonderful moments, and just as in the Christopher Guest movies, Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara are comedic brilliance - a great duo together as always. It’s etched itself into meme history…I’ll miss it. A lot.
I love this show but have to wait for the last season on Netflix. David is my favorite character but Alexis is a close second and I also enjoy Stevie’s dry delivery quite a bit.
The show manages to be funny, over the top, and warm and fuzzy all at the same time and I hope it gets the ending it deserves.
I just started watching the last season on YouTube TV. I will miss it when it’s over.
FWIW - on the poptv website, you can watch episodes (also on their app). I’m not sure how many are freely available and how many you need to log in (with your cable account), but that may be an option for some folks.
I just watched the last two episodes again. LOVE.
I just watched a clip on YouTube of Schitt’s Creeks bloopers. Highly recommend for fans of the show, and those needing a good laugh.
I’m not going to read all of this because I “don’t want to know.” We watched a couple of episodes and didn’t really care for it, but knowing many here have liked it, we will give it another try.
The characters developed beautifully over the seasons. Spectacular.
