<p>I think everyone is. Even the most qualified applicants feel the same way. Only time will tell. I’m sure we will all end up at good schools though :)</p>
<p>Just make sure the only schools you’d be happy going to aren’t all hypercompetitive.</p>
<p>I’m applying to two “hypercompetitives” EA, I hope I get into at least one. If not I’ll be seriously doubting myself waiting for RD results. 
I think I have a fair shot though. Hopefully they’ll at least announce the decision date soon, that’ll take out one element of uncertainty.</p>
<p>Despite the significant rise in EA applications, somehow I am not depressed at all. I feel very optimistic about my chances; whether that optimism is rational will be seen in a little over 3 weeks. Good luck to all of us :)</p>

<p>I think about getting in, then I hear the song “The King Of Wishful Thinking” echo around in my head. I am going to treat it like betting on a horse with long odds, probably not gong to turn out the way I would like, but it will be awesome if it does.</p>
