Many kids at my school, including myself, are producing GPAs .3 above their average, even with the mist challenging workloads we have ever experienced and our grades aren't really too big of an issue right now. Is this happening to anyone else? It seems like senioritis is a myth.

Me!

Ask me if you want to know the entire story.

Senioritis is not a myth, but like all diseases, if it can be call that, there are people who do not suffer from it.

No. Freak.

(Kidding! Good on you and your classmates. Over here, however, I can confidently report that senioritis is not, in fact, a myth.)

Despite senioritis and a general feeling of not wanting to do anything at all, I managed to have my highest quarter GPA ever last quarter. Maybe because I just so happen to be taking slightly easier classes?

No. I slid down so much it’s not even funny. Don’t ask about my GPA. I fell from Heaven to Hell.

I remember I did really well second semester senior year. I was trying to tighten my grasp on a couple of school awards though, so the motivation was there.

Right here! But that’s probably because of my relatively easy classes.

Me. But probably senior year is the MOST IMPORTANT year here.

Haha I’m actually doing awful … I wonder if I will get rescinded.

My son’s GPA went up, plus he took the ACT again in April and raised his score. When he let his chosen college know of this, they increased his scholarship.

I haven’t been on top of writing applications to scholarships like I had hoped I would…but AP exams are just kicking my butt. I figure what I can save in credit hours I would have gained from scholarship apps but…I actually have a 4.0 senior year with all honors and 4 APs. That is definitely an increase…I’ve never had a 4.0 all throughout my high school career. :p

First semester of senior year my lowest average was a 97 in all honors and AP courses. I don’t know if I just got lucky, but I wish my whole high school career had been that successful. I’m in second semester now and it’s looking like I’ll get similarly excellent grades. I’ve been battling senioritis but it hasn’t majorly affected my performance thus far.
