applied to kines... material in 10/2... no word yet

Well hopefully we will all hear a decision on friday, eh? :)

Applied 10/23, Everything in 11/06.

Applied to LSA+Ross.

I was labeled out of state (one parent lives out of country), so I had to file additional forms to confirm residency. It is kind of annoying considering most of the people from my school already got in, including those that are much less qualified (aka, those with 25 on ACT that got in due to connections).

idk about fridays because last week it was on saturday that most people heard....

hmm i applied 9/15 but they got my most recent sat score 11/12. bugger.

i just i knew the order they were going in since this is starting to get ridiculous. i applied oct 1, completed oct 20 and still NOTHING! i dont no if i should be worried or not. i didn't think my stats were border line, 32, 3.9 umich gpa, instate, lsa but w/e....suspense sucks!

^That SUCKS.

mich_girl, I have a friend in the same position as you. Instate 3.9, 31 ACT; App Complete 9/20 (20 something I think)

Her mother went to the admissions office (in person) and asked what was taking so long. Apparently her app was one of the 500 that were screwed up (due to the computer database problems back in mid-sept). Then when they fixed it they put her app as complete on 10/20 instead of 9/20. Then the person at the admissions office put her file into the "To be reviewed", so...yeah.

sucks for ur friend i no the feeling lol. the thing is, i don't think mine's one of the 500 messed up since i applied after the comp errors. neway, my mother called numerous times, i called once, my counselor ever called but so far, no good information on the status of my app other than the generic, 10-14 wks in the review pile blah blah blah. and then my counselor found that sumhow, according to her database it looked like i deleted my application but turns out it was just a comp error. but its still irritating none the less. i really hope i hear back b4 yale ea.

submitted Oct. 20th received(complete) Nov. 6th...still no decision

submitted oct 1...recieved nov 4....no decision

sent the application out early october, and got a letter back 4 weeks later saying that they never received my check even though they had cashed it 2 weeks prior. The actual date of them considering the app- nov 7th. Nothing yet...

btw, do any of you know if you can check your decision on wolverineaccess.umich.edu by looking at the application status or do you have to wait for the letter???

Darn.. I think mine might have been one of the 500 that was screwed up because mine was complete 9/19. Should I call them or just wait??

i would call just to make sure your application is being processed, because they wouldnt process mine until the issue regarding payment was fixed. If there was a problem, your application just might be sitting in a drawer until you fix it.

did anyone send in the paper application? cause i kno ppul who got in and they sent their's online. I couldn't do it online cause the stupid website was down. argh...makes me so mad.

Yeah I did mine by paper... And I did e-mail admissions today. Here's what their reply was:

"Processing time for freshman applicants generally takes between 12 to 14 weeks (from the time an application is complete in our office) before an applicant is notified of a decision. Your application was really complete towards the end of September early October. Once materials are received it takes a few weeks to recheck materials before we post the application as complete. The earliest you would here would be just before the December holidays. If not, soon after."

I think they screwed up my application but won't admit it...

submitted oct 21th completred nov 6th. no decision

friend submitted in september. got his decision online this morning.
