Anyone else get a letter?

Hello everyone. I received a letter today from Georgetown. It was from the French department, just congratulating me and urging me to go to one of the open houses. It also says that they would really like me to set up an appointment with the head of the French department (I applied as a French major). It was signed, too! By a real person! :p

Has anyone else received such a letter? Just wondering if it's all the departments or just FLL or what.

Do they send one out for government majors?

Well that's kinda what I'm asking. I got one, but I don't know if it's a department-specific thing or something.

Well, I haven't received anything for government; it may be that FLL is trying to get a yield and is doing outreach. Of course, my mail comes a few days later than others.

That could be true... I dunno, I guess we'll get an answer in a couple of days... when more people should get letters.

I'll start looking for mine in the mail...I hope they send it. I've gotten follow up letters from all the schools I've been accepted to, but the only other thing I've gotten from Georgetown is that Open House packet and the Christmas card.

:( I never got a Christmas card...

The reason why Georgetown loses calidan to another school?

They forgot to send the Christmas card.

I was accepted to the FLL as a Spanish major, and I haven't got anything yet. Let's hope...

Isn't the Faculty of Foreign Languages? So wouldn't it be FFL? Or did I miss completely?

Eiffel- that's so true! Hahaha just kidding... but seriously, I still want one.

And it's actually the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, thus, FLL. :)
