anyone else getting nervous?

I have not gotten anything, and I applied to SFS (and i am in mass). that's weird higherED. Gtown sends out ALL of them at the same time, i thought

Yah, no SFS mail here either, I and a friend of mine both applied (NY). I somehow am thinking you should rethink whether you "know" or you "heard", highered. Is this "know" the same as how the current administration "knew" there were WMD's in Iraq?

arbiter213, there's a very funny video about that issue (the WMD's) called the Apple iRack. Have you seen it?

No, but give me 5 minutes.

Clever, about what I'd expect from Mad TV.

Oh, if only SNL were still good :/

My son said that some kids in his school don't get it.

SNL has been disappointing. Tonight, I think Carey Underwood is on. Maybe she will surprise people and be really funny. I think the writing on SNL has really been lacking.

It really has- the main problem is all the truly talented writers will either have a short tenure or skip it entirely as a platform. I've been taught by some really, really good professional comedians and sketch comedy writers, one in particular, and she had turned down an SNL position to work on a pilot for her own sitcom for HBO. They get more creative freedom, better money, and better publicity that way, and honestly, its a greater chance for relevance. SNL is little more than slapstick and cheap imitations now a days, and if you compare the acting side talent of now to it's heyday its really pathetic.

Sounds like you have been exposed to some great mentors.

I have the feeling that the SNL producers are putting less money into the program. The Weekend Update used to be hysterical, but now it is very predictable and only infrequently funny.

I wish you great success with your applications.

wait, has anyone actually gotten SFS (or any) letters yet? or is it just something someone heard? im freakin out bc i thought they mailed out acceptances first and then rejections....and i havnt gotten anything...

nothing in Georgia

nothing in NJ-for Georgetown College (not SFS)

Its Sunday for crying out loud, guys.

well i just got home. from washington, d.c., actually. i should have just walked into the admissions office and asked for the decisian right then. i'm in GA, and i missed two days of mail (fri and sat)

I wish Georgia was closer to DC...I feel so pathetic, sitting here by the mailbox, knowing mail doesn't come because it's a Sunday!

my son is watching georgetown right now in east rutherford, nj. Maybe it will bring him luck.

Hey voguepanda!!! havent heard from you in a long time!

We know it is Sunday..the poster is asking if anyone to date has heard from Georgetown, not just today. Everyone is a bit anxious.

Audra--I know, I'm trying to cut back on CC to lessen the blow when I get "the letter"

yeah, i was trying to do that too. but then the 'rents left for a week, and i got sucked back into it. i had successfully abstained from CC since January, I believe! I was so proud of myself! then its almost april and...well, isnt it obvious?

Hey Voguepanda!
I also live in Georgia. What school do u go to?
