Anyone else have their public school dreams smashed by the failing economy?

I’m worried that state tuition costs will increase (will isn’t the question, but really by how much) and that a private school will be a better option.
I’m really worried about more people applying to public schools, since so many people already apply to the UC system. However I think competition will be tough.</p>
