Anyone else hear from them EA?

I got into the Honors College, anyone else?

When do we hear about money?

Anyone going?

I got in EA. I think we get fin. packages in about a month. I will probably be going. Are you going definitely?

I just applied, for the rolling admissions. I was just wondering if you guys could post your stats...

sure. i did not do to well on my sats 1130/1600, but i take some tough classes. top 15%. gpa 4.2, public school. Good luck!

I got into the honors college as well but not EA. I'm seriously thinking of going to this University but it all depends on the financial aid packages. When should we recieve them?

Has anyone visited the New York City campus???

Stephen...when did you apply and what were your stats?

I applied in late november or early december (I don't remember exactly) my general stats are 93.14% average, #25 in rank, 1880 on the SATs 1340 on just verbal/math sections, 6 APs, a few extracirriculars.

I'm going to visit the NYC campus once I have a day off.

hey, i applied late december and heard back a few days ago, i didn't have a fantastic gpa or anything, but apparently my spunky personality makes up for it...heh...so does anyone know how they are with financial aid? and has anyone visited the campus? i might not get a chance to until late april..so yeah...just looking for some more info about the school...

I go to Pace (NYC)...they're tough when it comes to giving financial aid unless you have a high SAT score (above 1100).

How is the campus???

It depends on what you want in a campus. There are no windows in most of the classrooms, so if windows are your thing…
We have a newly renovated Student Union for movies with a pool table, “lounge” chairs and what not. “Inside the Actors Studio” is filmed in our theater so we get free tickets to see the celebrities. There are tons of clubs and always something to do everyday (flyers for events basically litter the first floor hallways). The Co-op internship program is AMAZING! I got my first internship b/c of their help, which opened the door for me to get the last two I did.

You should really do a visit (if you can), so that you can see the atmosphere for your self…sit in on classes, hang out in the café, talk to students…etc. The thing you’ll find is that half of the people absolutely love it, and the other half absolutely hates it…and then there’s some in-between just trying to get a degree. Definitely dorm if you can…commuters tend to miss out on a lot of parties or other happenings.

Hope that helps.

I heard there were a lot of bomb threats or something like that. Is this true at all???

The NewYork campus is in Broklyn if i'm not mistaken, right? Well, i grew up in Brooklyn and i never really got that homey, college campus feel. Is Pace in a good area? Any trees? And about the no window thing....eww. lol.

No, its in Manhattan.

Cool. How does the campus look besides the lack of windows? I can't find any pictures online

I think they have a virtual tour on their website.

No, we haven’t had any bomb threats. To be frank, the Manhattan campus is not the prettiest looking college in the world; it’s actually quite ugly if you ask me. But, we are in a good area…right across the street from City Hall a few blocks away from Wall Streey, so we get to see Law & Order being filmed, different protests, camera crews…etc. Do a google image search to see what the campus looks like.

Anybody know how the dorms are?

They are two people per room and small. Nice views though. No kitchens or anything just enough for 2 single beds, desks, and a dressor. The floor shares the bathroom. When i went for a tour they wouldn't let me see the bathrooms, but apparently they were big. Basically cramped, but if you want to live in the city.....
