Has any one else gotten an e-mail…good or bad? We are starting to loose faith and rethink the whole application…GPA, SAT…maybe the essay was not that great…STRESS!

My friend got a negative response at 5:44.

Don’t give up, MomBaritone - it is obvious something went wrong. I am sure it will be fixed first thing in the AM. It is going to be a long night!

At least it is a Tuesday. They did this for EDII, and it was a Friday. Kids had to wait all weekend!

Oh man, I’m terrified to check my inbox now…chances of admission are pretty slim

(O_O) DO I DARE?!

Time to stop checking and go watch some trash tv and forget about this stressful college process…but I am sure we will check e-mail at least 10 more times before going to bed!

I received an email saying that I have been waitlisted. It said that they will be notifying everyone via email then an official letter.

GPA: 3.93 (unweighted)
SAT: 1960
Math: 730
Verbal: 590
Writing: 640
Interviewed

Hey guys … I checked my financial aid portal just to see if it updated. And it has, my awards are up there. So if you haven’t received an email maybe you can find out that way?

Ahhh…Okay I’m going to have to try that method because I received nothing.

anything?? i am too scared to check… :[

Admitted students, if my financial portal says
"Terms and Conditions of Your Offer of Financial Aid Award and Student Consent
- I agree to keep the Scripps College Office of Financial Aid informed of any outside scholarships or other outside aid sources that I receive or expect to receive,
- I understand that Scripps College may modify my financial aid package at any time due to changes in eligibility or to coordinate additional resources that I may receive.
- I understand that it is my responsibility to repay any loans that I accept and that I must arrange for an exit interview with both the Office of Financial Aid and the Student Loan Office before graduating, withdrawing, or taking a leave of absence from Scripps College…"

Does that mean I was accepted? I haven’t received an email yet.

It also says
“Lifetime Awards
Our records show that you have received lifetime awards at Scripps College. The amounts listed below are cummulative, and thus reflect all financial aid awarded across all academic years. The non-federal awards amount reflects College grants, scholarships and loans, as well as private grants and scholarships.”

Under that paragraph for “lifetime awards” mine has a little chart that lists all the numbers. If you are given the option to accept a financial aid award I would think you got in.

does anyone see Jess scholarship info on the finaid portal?

ehhh too bad I didn’t think to take a picture of the financial aid portal before this week so I could compare…

thank so much for the financial aid portal tip because I just found out that

I’M A JES SCHOLAR @ SCRIPPS!!!

Sneaking into the fin aid portal to figure it out :D

I like it!

i think im a JES scholar too! still waiting on an email…

Did the people who checked the FinAid Portal already send in 2010 tax returns?

I am unable to do my homework… I’m going to unplug a few of my computer’s wires… and leave the room XD

I haven’t gotten an email yet, and for some reason the financial aid portal isn’t letting me in. Do the emails bleed over to the next day? I’m so freaked out!

I’m freaking out too…
Do you guys know if the verification form needs to be sent it? Because the website says all supplemental info, aside from the FAFSA and CSS prof, isn’t due until May. I’m confused not only by the admissions system but allllssoooo by finaid. Agh.
