Anyone else hear the rumor....

It didn’t let me in at first. I tried logging in it didn’t let me. So I clicked first time user and filled stuff in and then I was able to log in

That didn’t work for me - it says it’s unable to activate my account. D<

Hmmm. Well mine hasn’t changed.

That…doesn’t sound too good. :/

Those of us who haven’t received emails–should we expect them anytime tonight or tomorrow? Oy vey.

I don’t think we’ll be hearing back any later tonight.

Tomorrow around 4:30pm-5ish I would guess.

Has anyone gotten a rejection email?

If you read some previous posts, there have been some rejections unfortunately:(

Can someone give me the link for the financial aid portal? I can’t find it:(

Never mind I found the site!

Don’t worry much about it. My financial aid portal showed nothing, but then my acceptance email just came. They might still be updating. Btw, the email was sent at 4:44pm but did not reach my email till 1am.

My daughter also got hers sometime in the middle of the night, but was also sent out at 4:44.

We sort of assumed she was in, but what we really wanted was the JESS decision, and they just say that will come by mail. I wonder if they have put those in the mail?

So, it was exciting to see the acceptance, but also anti-climatic.

@ Sealevel Yeah I got rejected. :frowning: Aw well I probably wouldn’t be able to afford moving out to California anyway. Congrats to all that got in! :)

Mine came some time in the middle of the night/the early morning. I got wait-listed.

YAY! i got in  …can’t wait for SADIOS…now onto worrying about the scholarship :/

Mine came in the middle of the night too

hmmmm

(goes off to check inbox)

OMG!

I got waitlisted with a 490 in math. I FEEL SO GOOD! :D

It sounds like everyone had a lesson in just how long it takes a computer system to send out roughly 2,000 emails…

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted! Take big breaths. Don’t hyperventilate.

And to everyone who was not-- I hope you are receiving better news from other colleges!

[li] Why you think you were accepted: lots of unusual extra curriculars, good grades, visited the school multiple times and kept in correspondence with admissions officers[/li][/ul]General Comments: So I’ve got mixed feelings about Scripps. For years, literally, years, I had planned to go here; it was my top choice when I was about eleven years old. I visited the campus regularly, had a pre-interview, then a real interview, etc etc. but, when I took my tour, I had the strangest tour guide who made me realize the school might not be for me. It really threw me off the school, especially after all my other wonderful tours at other schools. I then decided against ED, and just applied RD. I’m hoping my impression of the student body was wrong, so I’m planning on doing a sleepover + SADIOS to make my final decision about the school.
