Anyone else in this situation?

As some of you know Ive been pretty active on this board since I've been accepted....But now ive been accepted to Case Western Reserve University and am having a hard time deciding which (between PSU and Case) Id rather attend.
I plan to leave the ultimate decisions up to how my overnight visits to each school go.
However I wanna know if there is anyone else going through a problem as to which school to choose(between Penn St. and another school)

Im just bored and curious :)

I am, but I haven't gotten all my letters yet.

My biggest fear is that my visits will result in me not wanting to go to any of the colleges I am accepted to.

But I am very excited about my visit to PSU, already arranged. Going to the achiever's program.

Yup Sarit me too :) (and Im going to a similar thing for case western, and their also providing free transportation :))

What is your intended major? What kind of social scene do you like? Is there a big cost differential? Would you be in Schreyer at PSU? Do you care about access to the cultural offerings of a city?

My son had to compare both, too. They both are great schools and each has its own merits.

Yeah Ive been comparing both and both has its own good qualities. Both are basically the same price since I got a scholarship to Case. After I visit both hopefully ill be able to decide which I like better :)

Just be aware of the academic requirements to keep your Case scholarship. I'm not saying it is difficult or unlikely to keep it, but be aware that if your gpa drops below the specified level, you will lose the scholarship and Case will cost alot more.

yes lk i checked up on it...and it said that in order to keep my provost special scholarship I just have to keep a 2.0 GPA and so many semesters at each years

when did you find out you got a scholarship from Case?

I found out in the letter that they sent me (was in acceptance letter)

I have been admitted to PSU for engineering as an out of state student and Case Western Reserve University. After aid it will cost 14,000 for Case and 26,000 for PSU. I dont know if PSU is worth the money, but I heard the social life and campus at Case sucks. I used to live in northeastern ohio for a while, now im in Oklahoma, and I think its a nice area, although Cleveland is no Boston. I dont know where i want to go, but i am now starting to lean towards Case

I've got a slightly different dilemna. I got a full scholarship to PSU, but I also got a half sship to UMich. Then, on top of that, I got accepted to Johns Hopkins and Duke. I really love PSU (my dad went there) and it is completely free, which is why I'm still considering it. I really like UM (academics, not athletics) and that half scholarship is really enticing. But then, I could go to a better school in Duke or JHU.
I am going to visit all four schools to get a better handle on teh situation.

What scholarship did UMich give you? A shipman scholarship?

No, I didn't get the Shipman. I actually got the LSA scholarship for 20k per year.
