i don't know if it's senioritis or what but i just want to go to college already!! i need to get out of NY, meet new people, and just LIVE! im so bored of useless classes and dumb high schoolers complaining about their "drama." that word ****ssssssessssssssss me offffffffffff hahahaa.

i'm tired of not being in college. :-P

Agreed!!!!

It is funny that those who live in a lively city want out, and those who have never even seen the city want to live there.

I'm having fun in High School. I'm basically running the place.

1) There are 50 students in my grade.
2) The grade is divided into two rival factions: the people who party and the people who don't.
3) Of the latter, half lack social skills, don't shower, or are otherwise annoying.
4) Leaving about 10--certainly no more than 15--remotely cool people in the entire grade.
5) Less than five of whom I consider to be close friends.

Can you say "socially constricting"?

edit: To my school's credit, the friends I do have are lovely people; the small size gives it a friendly atmosphere with small class sizes (my largest class has 12 students, and my smallest has three); academics are truly excellent; and working on the newspaper is a lot of fun. It's just--let's just say that a higher ratio of cool to not-cool people would be much appreciated.

I am not surprised-you are holed up in the diplomatic community. Is there any way out (like attending another private school in the area, assuming you are a US citizen?)

i've had a lot of fun in high school, but yeah, i'm ready to graduate....i'm just going to be soo relieved when my final set of (that count for admission) go in in a month and a bit, and i can finally give in to my "senioritis"...........

kman1456: The international atmosphere is actually one of the things I like about my school (and no, I'm not a US citizen). I think I'd encounter the same problem--feeling socially restricted--at any small private school, and getting out at the end of junior year in the middle of the IB Diploma would be extremely counterproductive.

Like I said, I like my school; I just don't like a lot of the people there.

Amen to that. The people in my school are so small minded, they have no idea what troubles are. There are some pretty cool people granted, but there is generally nothing to do. For most of my school a "good time" consists of a dimebag of weed (or sometimes shrooms and coke) and/or a keg.

I'm ready to graduate and move on and I'm only a junior.

lol ^^^
I found that Senior Year was much better than Junior year, but unfulfilling compared to what college (I hope) will be. It'll get better though :)

dude, if i started having senioritis feelings my junior year i would have shot myself (j/k...but seriously), i have wanted HS to be over since about november and the time until may seems like an eternity...i cannot imagine getting through all of those applications/scholarships with the mindset i have now (of wanting to be done...as jazzfan said)

only 83 more days!!! (i have a counter on my gmail page)

haha, I want school to be oooover. June 5th cannot come soon enough.

Then in some ways, it's coming too fast and I'm scared.

ugh i dont see how i can survive another year of this. Especially with the lame senior projects we have to do next year...oh well...

I WANT SCHOOL TO END DAMN IT. The winter trimester ends TOMORROW!!!! YIPPIE!!! I get like 2 weeks off, then NONSTOP, back to school for another term, and I'm SOOOO ready to rock my last trimester of junior year lol. I only have 3 finals at the end of the spring trimester because of AP classes (THANK YOU AP) and I get to miss my least favorite class (physics) TWICE for APs!!! And then I'm so ready to get the hell out of my stupid little town. I'm trying to get internships so I can have some independence while being in NYC, my favorite place in the world.

I'm SOO excited for registration week...I'm ready to skip science next year....

Yes. I WANT SCHOOL TO END NOW. You get out in July 5th? I get out on June 1st.

I am extremely tired of high school. I just want to be done!

I graduate on May 28.

I can't wait for high school to be over. I'm counting down the days until graduation. Can't wait!

I would love to be out of high school. 'nuff said.

I'm studying for my English(easy) and my math(ridiculously hard) final. I hate my math teacher. I'm just taking it an hour at a time here. On top of that, stuffy nose, exhaustion, lack of focus, and general symptoms of the lack of motivation....

This is REALLY BAD!!!! I HAVE GOT TO GET INTO NYU STERN SO I CAN GET THE HELL OUT OF CA!!!! :)
