anyone else just plain tired of high school?

High school is good for socializing, getting to know other people, and participating in some interesting activities. It is not so good for learning--yet. I hope that it will improve when I'm a junior next year and I'm allowed to take AP classes. :) That being said, even if it's kind of a waste of time sometimes, I still like high school. I would get bored, lonely, and depressed if I stayed home all day and studied or anything like that, even if I might get more work done.

I am definately sick of high school. I attend an all girls school and there is just so much drama. I'm really hoping everyone is more mature in college. Unfortunately for me, I'm only a junior this year, so I still have one year left.

I like my classes, but I don't want any more homework. Busywork is so two years ago.

Also, taking AP Calc practice tests every single day. Uggggggh.

^same here but for AP Stats^ I am soooooooo over HS. everything about it.

I'm tired of everything that is high school~~~

Tired of people's stupidity.
Tired of studying just for the sake of testing.
Tired of doing everything for the sake of college.
Tired of doing everything just to fit in.
Tired of life as an idiotic teenager, generally speaking.

High School is way over rated, and college, I don't know about college.
I really want to join Peace Corp, Army, and other craps for like two years then go back to school to study~~~

Lucky for me, only a month remaining, and I only need to care about AP tests~~~~

I'm tired of high school since grade 10. Especially of teachers that give out grades as they please and even more by the general stupidity that seems to surround high school.

I'm tired of it too, and I've still got two more years. I'm disgruntled that next year I'll keep 3 teachers from my current schedule - one who is just plain bad at teaching, one who doesn't particularly like her subject, and one who moved from an adjacent subject because the former teacher left. UNGH they are incompetent. I'm so glad to not have all but one of my other teachers next year.

The students are worse. They are the ones who make the experience intolerable.

Studying for the sake of tests means a) that we get to do fun stuff after the APs are over but b) most people just want to party, not learn some tangent but more fun subject.

Add all that typical stuff to my personality, and I just can't wait for college. It may or may not be better, but it can't be like this.

High School absolutely sucks. There is little justification that can bring me to alter this conclusion. Even the social stuff and interesting clubs/activities/experiences don't even seem worth it anymore. I enjoy learning. Unfortunately that doesn't happen too often around here. I've tried to make the best of my situations, but my efforts are always slapped in the face with "well you still go to [name of my school], nothing will change." I'm sure things would be different if I went to another school, but as a junior it's really too late to switch now, and I'm not sure if any damage can be repaired. But for now, I can't look on the bright side, since it is nonexistent. I'm ready to go. Right now.

I'm sure things will get better in college. I dearly hope that they will...

I was tired of it last year, but this year I'm enjoying it and actually looking forward to next year. I'm pretty glad my spring break is in one day, though.

With classes, senioritis hasn't really hit hard til this quarter.

With student council, I haven't really cared about improving the school since homecoming.

I'm so sick of high school. Unfortunately, I'm a junior. :(

I like high school, I just hate the control-freak rules they keep on us. Come on, if we have more than two absences or tardies fourth quarter, we can't do the graduation ceremony? That's a load of crap.

37 more days.

so sick of high school...unfortunately i've got one more year

ahhh yeah. I'm skipping school like every week and the classes I do go to I'm like glazing over in-- for me, I'm sick of my school itself, not the people in it. But just let me go to the amazingness that is college already.

brieb08, I know. Attendance policies are just..really stupid. Why should it matter as long as I'm not failing senior year!?

I'm sick of the immature, homophobic, drunk, cliquey part of it.

"No homo" jokes have the potential to be funny at times...in the high school setting at least.

16 more days!

i'd be a lot less tired of cliques if i could find one that i could fit into. :/

but yeah, i cant stand my school. i'd do self study/homeschool, but homeschooled kids are looked at with a fine tooth comb during college admissions, and i dont think that i could live up to the standards required. i applied for a school year abroad prog in hopes that i could get away from this crappy school, but that didnt come through. im guessing because it was geared to private school kids (and i go to a dinky/ghetto public school), and i had no chance of going unless they gave me full aid.

oh well, hopefully my philosophy/mantra of putting up with the BS until graduation/college will get me through the rest of junior year, and all of senior year.

piccolojunior, just 16 more days?? really? well, i have more than a month...AAHHH can't wait to get over with all this stuff....

Yeah...Been tired since before I started. I'm looking into early college start programs (I'm currently a junior).
