Anyone else looking for a place to stay in long beach?

Ive started looking at the places in long beach on craigslist and I havnt really been able to find a place close enough to the school. Is anyone on here looking for a place to stay? I think it would be smarter just finding an apartment to split rather than a room for rent.

If anyone on here is looking for someone to split an apartment with please let me know!

A little bit about myself:
21 years old
male
transfer student going into business administration (I am hoping to become a database administrator)
Ive lived on my own for a little over a year now, I live in one of my parents apartments in glendale, so I know how to take care of myself and keep clean

I already have a roommate figured out, but i can tell you about a few apartment buildings around CSULB if you’re looking for where to stay.

jrairship could you list the apt buildings around CSULB? I found some but I’m sure there are more.

THanks!

Sure. The closest to the school and probably one of the better buildings is Bixby hill. Its pretty much as close to the classes as the dorms are. For this reason its also the most filled with students, and a bit expensive.

Shortly down the street from the school is Gondolier, Park Ocean, and Continental (the last one i do not recommend). These are a bit cheaper, Gondolier has smaller and cheaper apartments about 50% students. Park Ocean has a larger range, and costs slightly more but is also probably the better choice.

These are only apartments very close to the school. Long beach is a very big city, and has a lot that are close and further away.

thanks for the info ill be sure to check those out!
