Hey guys, my SAT scores as of today are still pending. I called earlier and the customer service rep told me it would be sent by today or tomorrow. Is anyone else in the same boat? Everything has been completed and submitted but the SAT score? Also do you guys think that U Mich should be more lenient this year due to the Collegeboard’s two screw ups? Once in the June SAT and now?
I missed it too…I’m freaking out haha I called and they actually stuck to their word. Sent just now. But still after the deadline…
You probably want to call the admission office. I am pretty sure they are aware of this issue. This year, there are problem with both SAT and ACT that some score reports would be late. I think they may make it exceptional this year to allow late score by a week or two. A couple years ago where there were glitches in the revised CommonApp, they extended the deadline by 2 weeks.
Haha I called them and I was thinking it sounded just like Collegeboard’s system until it hung up on me…is it a good idea if I was planning on waiting for my Umich ID and checking like next week? Is that too late?
I tried calling U Michigan to see if they are going to consider the delays…Haven’t gotten an answer yet though…Collegeboard did say they reached out to schools with early deadlines to make them aware of the issue though so hopefully it works.
Issues here as well. Sent ACT scores in July. And they don’t have them. Resent late last week. Hopefully they will be logical.
I sent in my app on 10/31, but everything seems to have been received by them after the deadline, and my transcript is still pending. Would I still count for EA?
@whizkid98, I’m wondering the same. My SAT scores were sent 10/28 and I submitted my commonapp on 10/31, but everything was received 11/2 and 11/3. I hope this doesn’t disqualify us from EA. At the moment my notification plan just says ‘Early Action - Requested’, not ‘Early Action - Qualified’.
Should it say early action- qualified? I’m in the same situation. @ys202040
I think the receipt day is when it was all put in the account. Obviously they got some pieces with your app, so their should be no date difference. I think it is just the date the item was identified with your um id#.
HRSMom makes sense. my DD noticed the same issue with her application submitted on Nov. 1, but the scores, transcripts and recommendations all dated Nov. 3 or 4. We know UM had her scores back in September as we got a card from Admissions noting the fact and encouraging her to apply. So this is likely a date the data was inputted into the applicants account.
Most students who submitted their actual application by the 1st seem to have qualified for EA this year…even if their school forms and/or SAT results arrived a few days later. Michigan seems to have overlooked CollegeBoard’s delays.
To those who are asking, “Early Action - Qualified” means your application has qualified for Early Action and will be reviewed by December 24.
All: check again. My S sent Oct 31. Now it says “Qualified”.
Should I be worried if my status still says Early Action - Requested instead of Early Action - Qualified or is U Mich still going thru everything? On collegeboard it says my scores were sent on the 4th though I requested on the 22nd…
Did you submit your application before November 1? If so, I think you will qualify.
There’s a good chance you might be qualified for EA. My son called first week of October and Admissions confirmed that his ACT/SAT scores were there but his credential page dates them as October 30 (2 days after he submitted his application)
