Anyone else NOT get their decision yet?

Thanks, guys! Good luck!

A counselor recc was NOT required. They just asked for reccs from ANYONE who could speak of/fill out the criteria. Don't worry konakai. COUNSELOR RECC WAS NOT REQUIRED. HANG IN THERE AND GOOD LUCK:-)

P.S: I AM 100% CONFIDENT WITH MY ANSWER.

Haha. Thanks! USC isn't my top choice, but I'm still really anxious for some reason.

Would they have notified me upon receiving my transcript? I sent it in a long time ago but never received a confirmation.

Not sure if they would have notified you about receiving it, but I'm pretty sure you would've gotten a request/email/something stating that they still have not received it. No need to fret :D

Did we have to send in mid-years by mail, or could we have just done it online?

From what I understood, you post your mid-year grades online but you also have to send a copy of your report card/updated transcript to USC.

Was a counselor rec required?
Nope! The minimum was one rec from either a counselor or teacher. I only sent one teacher rec, called the admissions officer to see if I had everything in and she said yes so you should be good too!

I am nervous as hell! I've called the office of admissions so much I think they know me by name now haha

Seriously I am suuuuper nervous/anxious/excited right now it's too crazy. I'm in Southern California so hearing about all these acceptances already is just way too nerve racking. It's insane. But I did apply to the School of Cinematic Arts for Writing and that's super difficult and their acceptances usually come out later so I'm extra nervous buuut I'm hoping it comes soon (:

I had a teacher and a counselor rec, since I was confused as to what they wanted :P

"And I called the admissions office and they said "We send out acceptances as decisions are made.""

^Wouldn't that be unfair then? How can they admit as they go...? Aren't they, in some respect, suppose to compare all the applicants. If it's admit as they go, then it's almost like first come, first serve-you just need the minimal GPA, SAT/ACT, and ECs.

Yeah, still waiting on any sort of update here -- my status is still stuck on "We have received everything we've requested...etc."

Anyway- to anyone whos worried about SCA (like myself) last year, nearly all the SCA applicants received word on the same day... it was during the 4th week of March. Good luck to everyone and congratulations to everyone who has gotten in already!

Waiting anxiously in Texas...
My entire life seems to revolve around the mail schedule >.<

Same here - except I'm in California. Haha

I'm from the midwest and I've only heard of a person or two being accepted today. It might be because we don't have as many applicants, but I think there are many decisions to come.

What is everyone's "Status last updated" date? Mine says 12/15/2008 and I am worried out of my mind. =/

mine was last update 2/03/2009
Im glad more are coming out!

My last update DATE is 12/12, but I know that my status has changed several times since then. Current "Your application is being reviewed..."

im still really worried that i will not be accepted and this is my top choice and it sucks that people got accetped and its liek there back up

luckygirl - i'm in the same exact situation as you...i've received the two letters for financial aid. i also saw that your NMF, like me.

NICOLE B I FEEL THE SAME WAY! It's so annoying people are like "yeah I'm probably not going I'm waiting on Harvard"

yeah i know it sucks can in some since they took someone spot who actually really wants it alot of people i know who applied are just like whatever about it its not even in there top choices

Aaah my thoughts exactly! I remember back in 8th grade, applying for high schools, and they made you list the schools you were applying to in order of preference. I'm like, seriously? But now I'm kinda mad...I ACTUALLY would go to USC. Beyond that. I practically don't want to go to college if I don't get in. Okay, exaggeration, but still...

HAHAH I am right with you luckygirl1791 like i dont want to go anywhere else!!!!! But it just makes me really upset! But that's life I guess!
