I'm an American student who applied separately, once for science, and another for arts and science and my transcript was sent on January 16. The reported range for admission details on the McGill site ends today, but I haven't heard back yet. Would they send it after their own deadline?

i’m in the same spot. make sure that you have everything sent in (if your status is still “further review required” that means you might be missing something). i called the admissions office and they told me that they were trying to finish up american applicants within the next week, and that the dates on the website are just tentative.

what is your status on minerva?

hi,
I applied as a transfer student from a university in New Jersey, you mean they will finish up american applicants which will include transfer students ?

yeah my status on minerva is still “reviewed decision pending” for the two faculties I applied to, is that normal?

i’m also still “reviewed-decision pending” so i called the admission office to ask. they informed me that this means that we are “borderline” applicants who could go either way, and that need a closer look before they can decide (american applicants should be finished within a week according to them). i know it’s not a particularly satisfying answer, but there’s still hope!

I didn’t send my personal statement and it doesn’t register that I’ve sent my letters of recommendation (which I did). Would sending any additional documentation do anything for my case?

I’m also anxiously awaiting to see the results, the current status is reviewed-decision pending. I exceed pretty much all the standards even if just by a little bit in some areas and by quite a bit in others, but I still have no idea if I’ll get in :).

As an American college transfer student, we will hear back any time between now and May 11th (according to their website). It’s weird that they notify American college transfer students before they notify Canadian college transfer students. Oh well, doesn’t bug me (since I’m applying to transfer from a US college).

Wait listed :|

do you have any idea how long you have to wait when you’re wait listed?

@camsmith93

I called McGill and they said they really don’t know, it depends on when students make their decisions over whether to go and how many choose not to go to McGill, freeing up spots.

So, has anyone who was Reviewed - Decision pending been rejected yet?

my status still says “ready for review” and i’m so anxious
(i’m a french student)

Same here, I’m French and it still says “Ready for Review”. I’m trying to get in the Faculty of Arts. 110 on my TOEFL, almost 15/20 average on my French Bacc… I won’t lie to you, I’m sick of waiting. Especially since McGill’s soccer coach told me I should be fine. You never know. Ugh. Anyway, good luck to y’all!

i had reviewed-decision pending for a solid two months and i just got accepted!! don’t lose hope :)
