<p>I'm still in the dark about financial aid. Called up the office several times, but each time recieved the same thing... they're in the process, and I'll hear in a week or so.</p>
<p>I've already recieved a full laptop grant, but who knows if I'll even be able to afford Carolina...</p>

<p>No, I just posted it today. I've checked online and still haven't found out yet. UNC had me send in some additional verification forms (apparently a small percentage of people are picked at random to be verified). So I have yet to find out. Just wondering if anyone else was in the same predicament I'm in.</p>

<p>just got mine at the end of last week so maybe you all won't be so far behind that....i know they say they are wrapping things up. Current students hear after new students do so.....they have other things to do.</p>

<p>I just got mine today, $12,000 in aid (about 3,200 of it is loans). </p>

<p>My d still hasn't got her financial aid package... "Award Pending" still... It's driving us crazy since it's her first-choice college but we can't make a decision between U Mich and UNC-Chapel Hill until we know... no laptop grant either... do they email us if we are entitled to a laptop grant? Is this information on the MyUNC?</p>

<p>Still no FA pkg for my son either. He did get the laptop grant though awhile back... I can't believe it's taking this long. He was accepted EA, got likely letter in Dec, acceptance in Jan, filed FAFSA in Jan & Profile in Feb. No reason to be this late... He decided to go elsewhere.</p>

i called them earlier in the week and the lady said they sent financial aid letters out sometime last week. so it should be here by now, right? so where. is. it.
i need to know. and MyUNC doesn't work for me. i don't know why. :[</p>
<p>i called unc last week because i havent recieved mine yet either. the lady told me that this was because my application was flagged and they were trying to give me more money.</p>
