I have never had that happen! Strange. IME you can keep solving the puzzle until the new puzzle posts everyday at 3am.
Actually it seems to let me continue the previous dayās game until I refresh the browser. I tried completing the game one morning (at a respectable time!) and looked up/cheated the words I didnāt get the previous day, entered them and it gave me QB. I was surprised at that.
However, I didnāt think to check my stats after doing that to see if it was officially logged. If I try it again Iāll do that as an FYI.

On days I have time, I do try to finish, but often there are a couple of words I canāt get. I do use the community input (there are 2 or 3 posters who post daily, and give good clues) to finish outā¦I donāt see it as cheating, rather itās the best way for me to learn these words. Of course, sometimes I knew the word and was just not seeing it!
After I get to Genius Iāve been using the hints as well (I learned about that here). I do what I can with the grid then check the comments if I have time before end of day.

On occasion I have not gotten credit for words, but itās not often. And, yes, if you leave a tab open with the previous dayās bee you can keep working on it until you refresh with the new one ā¦ at least on my laptop.

Clearly I am a ānewbieā. Didnāt really ever look at the community and had no idea I could check and see which words I missed!

If you use different devices it sometimes doesnāt record answers especially if you have them both open. If you leave it open you can basically keep solving forever - as long as you donāt refresh!

I got annoyed because I played on my laptop and iphone and didnāt get credit for words I knew I entered. Now, I only play on the iPhone.

Iām starting to take note of words that are NOT given credit. Did anyone notice that Huguenots did not work yesterday? Iāve run into other words before but that one just seemed surprising. Maybe I donāt know all the rules of allowed wordsā¦

@abasket Iām not sure if the sale is still going on (since I caved and purchased it I no longer get ads), but NYT was running a 50% off games sale. It turned out that when I switched, I actually only paid $1 more/month for access to games and NYT cooking, both of which I didnāt have prior. Might be worth checking out for you?

Wow! Today is tough!
I just make it to āniceā and stop. Not sure how you all make it to genius or queen bee. For me itās fun just to generate them quickly and not use hints or anything. I am pleased when I use all the letters.
