Anyone else ordering the free at-home Covid Tests?

I ordered the 4 free at-home Covid tests that the government is providing. I hope that I won’t need them, but it will be good to have them on hand.

Yes, I ordered ours earlier today, and I texted the link to several friends etc today. Everyone plans to order them.

Me too. Won’t ship till late January so I’m thinking mid-Feb delivery. Too late for omicron but hoping they’ll still be useful for detecting the next variant.

I did. Forwarded the link to my children and they ordered them. Plus many friends have ordered their free kits.

Yep, ordered and forwarded the link to my D and other family members.

Yep, and sent the link to the kids and my son’s MIL, who is going through her supply because she has kind of a bad case though at home.

I ordered 4 for my Mom, 4 for my house and texted my sons living on there own to order some. Hopefully, no one will need them.

I decided not to. I have 6 tests that I haven’t used and figured that I didn’t need to start hoarding. Which I’m kinda doing already.

Me too.

Each valid address gets 4 without taking number of people in each household. I guess it’s good to be single now.

I got so many texts as soon it went live.

Do take into consideration that sometimes when you start showing symptoms you might go through a couple/few rapid tests for each person in the house before it shows positive or before you can be pretty sure you don’t have it.

Some people can easily wait until the 3rd or 5th or whatever day of symptoms before taking a test, but if you have to be out places - like work - you might test more frequently to keep those you come in contact with safe.

Yes, I ordered! Not going to be waiting by the mailbox for delivery though. With the demand and requests made, this could end up being a delivery fiasco! When they come, they come!

Ordered mine today as well

This effort feels like bringing a butterknife to a gun fight! Many other parts of the world have been providing their citizens with free at-home tests, weekly, for months (maybe even more than a year)

Ordered ours today and sent to both of my girls and they ordered theirs also. My brother was going to help our parents order theirs when he goes to their house tonight.

I ordered ours & texted the link to the kids. D ordered immediately, but I don’t know about S. A former coworker sent me the link right after I had placed my order. I feel bad for the folks without the ability to order via internet. Hopefully, the telephone ordering system will be in place soon.

I did today, and it was effortless. Hopefully, the shipping will be equally effortless.

Amazon has at home tests too that take about a week for delivery (at least that was the estimate on Saturday when I ordered),

I ordered as well.
On a bit of side note…family member is a USPS employee. He said he hopes everyone has patience…they are backed up with mail now, due to so many out with Covid. He has been working 12-14 hour days with no end in sight. He just feels there is no way any of this is going to be out in a timely manner–and the Post Office will bear the brunt again…

Ordered today as well.

I figure it is better to have them on hand and hope we will not need them, then to not have them and need them down the road.
