<p>My friend is a transfer and already knows where she's living (on Cook). She found out two days ago. Why do some people get them earlier? I want to know mine now...</p>
<p>i’m also a transfer, but i did not receive my housing info. transfers are suppose to get it the firstweek of august, idontk now how your friend received it already</p>
<p>Why won’t they send them already? I’m getting so anxious…ugh. Does anyone know exactly when the students were informed last year?</p>

<p>Look at your term bill and check what you were charged for housing. Double that number. Then go to the housing website and find the page with the list of rates for each building and find the one that matches your number. That’s where you’re living.</p>
<p>My housing charge wasn’t added to my term bill yet, so can’t try that. =[</p>
<p>If you don’t have a housing charge on your bill I’d call. Those are always on when bills come out.</p>

<p>Do you have access to your email yet? If so, you can try this (It worked last year, not sure if it will this year):</p>
<p>Go to my.rutgers.edu and log in with your net id
Click on the tab up top that says My Tab
On the bottom right corner, click on Student Campus Mailing Address</p>
<p>If you’ve been given a mailing address (BPO way=Busch, LPO=Livingston, RPO=College Ave, DPO=Douglass, CPO=Cook), you can tell what campus you are on.</p>
<p>I’m not sure if it works, since it still gives me my mailbox number from last year.</p>
<p>Drexeler I tried that, but I haven’t been assigned a mailbox yet. We should know by Monday or Tuesday anyway and I’m on vacation this week so I can wait.</p>
<p>I did the term bill way… and mine says im in the residence halls!!! but im a transfer student from the Newark campus as a sophomore. ill be ****ed if im surrounded by freshman</p>

<p>I doubt it Viento. I don’t have housing on my term bill and I applied for housing very early.</p>
<p>@stevecheung Transfers can be placed in residence halls, some of which are upperclassmen only like quad 3 on livingston. There are no upperclassmen residence halls on busch. I think one of the river dorms on college ave are upperclassmen and I am unsure about cook/douglass. You can also be mixed with freshmen, sorry.</p>
<p>@Corduroybear is it possible to get switched into the apartments on Cook campus if i were to be in the residence hall dorms. it is so unfair i was in a freshman dorm last year what makes it right that im in another one again… wow</p>
<p>there’s a chance that you’re in an upperclassman dorm but if what you want are apartments, you can still get them. If you know anyone in the apartments with a vacancy after all the transfers receive their assignments, then he can request you and you request him. That is the quickest way to get into an apartment. You can submit a room/roommate change request but there is no guarantee you will get a change and chances are you will be placed in a dorm again. A lot of upperclassmen want apartments and many are placed in residence halls instead. I was a junior and lived in the quads :)</p>
<p>Email came out that Freshman received their housing assigments today…transfers will know in the near future? What does this mean, that they have not yet finished assigning all transfers housing? If housing appeared on your term bill does that mean you have received housing, they just have released the assignment yet?</p>

<p>So those of us transfers who don’t have housing on our bill don’t have housing yet? I don’t like this att all. 8 hope it comes within a couple of days or I’m gonna call. Anyone have any input of what’s going on over there?</p>
