<p>I was told that if you get in, it's like you are practically guaranteed acceptance in the fall.</p>
<p>This is not true. There have been Dartmouth bound students right here on CC that have been outright rejected during both the RD and the ED rounds.</p>
<p>I applied! And I’ve heard the same about the acceptance chances. If you do get in, you can still be rejected without a second glance.
I’m confused on how many applications they usually get though. According to The Dartmouth, a publication there, they had 330 applications last year. However, parents on here are saying it’s in the thousands, which is difficult to believe.</p>
<p>I don’t know about the thousands, but I know there are roughly 90 spots.</p>
<p>The program has been in existence for approximately 10 years.</p>
<p>It has been called a number of things (I remember when it was Destination Dartmouth) and Dartmouth Bound was mainly the native American Fly-in Program. Over the past couple of years the whole program was just imply called Dartmouth Bound</p>
