<p>We’ve been waiting to hear on my little brother and today we checked his Howdy portal last night, and he didn’t have a MyRecord tab on his Howdy portal (like whatrchances had mentioned about his son’s). Then, this morning his Howdy portal shows a MyRecord tab… but no step 6 on AIS! We are waiting patiently!!! How long did it take your son’s Step 6 to pop up? (If we were to see one) :)</p>
<p>It was a little over 24 hours. When Step 6 actually showed up it said that his paperwork had been sent out the day before. Congrats!!! It is looking good!!</p>
<p>I had a myrecords tab this morning but my ais major has changed from english to general studies at blinn team but still no step six… Does this mean i no longer have a chance at A&M full admission?</p>
<p>I wouldn’t rule it out completely… but it does seem that they’re moving to Blinn TEAM admissions now.</p>
<p>Why haven’t I gotten anything yet? Not a decline, acceptance, change in AIS… nothing has changed!!!</p>
<p>I know the wait is so hard, but remember they said that we had until the 17th to find out, plus after that comes Blinn TEAM people, the fact that some are starting to get Blinn TEAM already doesn’t mean they are not going to keep going until the end of May. Hang in there.</p>

<p>Did you apply for Galveston? It all depends, Galveston is one year keep a 2.5 and just change curriculum to CS. If you really want to be in CS I would definitely take Blinn TEAM, unless you are debating between A&M and another school. My daughter is set on A&M and wants to be in CS, so most likely she will take Blinn TEAM if she gets it.</p>
<p>hopefulaggiemom - No ma’am, I didn’t apply to Galveston because my other college backups are UT, Baylor, Texas Tech, UH, and HBU. Basically, it’s the matter of who gives me the most money if A&M doesn’t accept me. But the thing is…they didn’t necessarily COMPLETELY reject me since I’m place on Blinn Team…but I’m not in completely either…ahh. Do you happen to know anything about Blinn College? Like…how far is it from the actual A&M campus? And the tuition?</p>
<p>from the Blinn Campus you can see TAMU. It is less than 5 miles. tuition? have no idea - way way way less than A&M.

Blinn Team is not a bad way to go - You still get to be an Aggie, you still get to go to football games, and have A&M campus priviliges. Not a bad deal.</p>

<p>If you are bringing your car make sure you call Blinn to get a Blinn parking permit. That is what I have heard you need to do right away.</p>
<p>My son is currently going to Blinn. His tuition for 15 hours was right at $1200 which is much cheaper than A&M by several thousand. He lives at the Tradition and rides the shuttle bus to Blinn campus. There is one route (Route 12) which goes to Blinn campus. He does have a car and a parking permit for Blinn. His car remains parked all week until he goes to work on the weekend. He prefers the shuttle bus because he said that parking is a nightmare during the day at Blinn. He said it is pretty funny to watch people drive around the parking lot hoping to get a spot.</p>

What do you think? Do I have a chance to get full admission or Blinn TEAM?
I really want to go to A&M and if I was givin either of ther choices I would accept in a heartbeat. I know my SAT scores arnt the greatest but that’s my weakpoint. Oh and I had been accepted to A&M Galveston after the consideration. And I don’t have an interest to be in the corp. So to those who got full admission or Blinn TEAM… what were your stats?

<p>Look under your My Records tab and see if you can order a sports pass or dining.
This is an indication you will be admitted to something.
Also look and see if your major changed to General Studies Blinn Team.
My daughter’s changed pretty quickly after her My Records tab popped up.
Maybe within the hour. We didn’t get a change to step 6 until the next day…over 24 hours later.

I didn’t submit my SAT, so it doesn’t really apply to my admissions…my ACT was a 26 though, with 32 English and 26 Math.</p>
