I'm taking Algebra II Honors online through John's Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth. I'm only in Geometry this year (10th grade) and want to take PreCalc Honors and AP Physics next year.

So, we're looking at about 5 hours a day when school ends...fun....I'm doing an hour or so a day now, it's not too awful.

Anyone else taking anything? Why are you doing it?

I'm taking two required courses for graduation online through my state's online offerings. It's probably gonna end up being like an hour or two of work a day for me. Not bad.

I took CTY on-line Geometry when I was 8th grade, it was a six months course, not summer course. Only took about 1.0 hour a day. The instructor is really helpful, sometimes I asked him questions about history or science, not only math.

I also took CTD on-line courses. Compare with CTY and CTD, I prefer CTY.

It's not a summer one, but I'm doing it in three months and it happens to be during the summer. And my friends have done CTD and say the same thing. The instructors at CTY are so helpful. The only reason I'm doing so much is because I'm cramming a 6 month course into their accelerated 3 month timeline :/

I think I'm gonna watch some of the lectures from the MIT free courses thing. Probably about geology or some other type of earth science. Maybe it'll be a good prep for Science Olympiad next year.

I'm starting self-study for psych, stats, and still debating CS AB. I'm preparing for AP Cal BC. So while I'm doing no formal courses, I'm not doing nothing in academics.

yup, that's it. i'm dedicating myself to it 100% to get it done in the 3 months. if it has a timeline for 3 months, than it can probably be done. but don't try to do it in less.

I'll be taking AP Calc AB this summer at FLVS.

Informally, I'll probably also check out some stuff on MIT's OCW too if that counts as an online course and probably a bit of prep for next year via various Internet sources.
