Anyone else waitlisted?

First off, I'm really proud of even making it on the waitlist...my stats are way below the people saying they were accepted or even straight rejected.

But I'm wondering if anyone knows how many people were put on the waitlist? I haven't seen anyone here yet at all and it is baffling me. I was never sent a supplement so I find this all very confusing, I mean seeing people who had been sent supplements get rejected and me not having received one getting waitlisted. How does this all work?!

According to Berkeley, the campus “placed approximately 200 students on its wait list.” Source: [Freshman Selection FAQ’s](http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/general.asp?id=111&navid=N)

Awesome, thank you for that! Though I wonder why I only made waitlist… I’m guessing that my 3.6 GPA (and OOS status) made me look bad in their relatively numbers-based admissions, while my essays and extracurriculars made up for it in a way that was good enough to make them like me as a person but not to explain my low GPA. Ha, who knows!

Good luck!

Thank you so much, I appreciate it! Are they telling people now or something?! Need to decide whether or not to check the mail!

I just got accepted :)

congratulations! Go Bears!

Thanks for posting that you got in, Moschisms. If you hadn’t, I probably wouldn’t have checked my email. I got in too! :)
