anyone else wrote a essay for other major but got in?

I did

my essay was all about the econ not a single word and meaning towards to bus

however

I admit ucsb in bus/econ

'_'?

I don’t think that’s a big reach because there’s really not much “business” in business econ. Also UCSB doesn’t really read essays.

My ex wrote her essay specifically about political science and got in as rhetoric at UCB (which does look at essays).

Rhetoric is only offered at Berkeley, so they might have made an exception.

I wrote my essay about geophysics, and was accepted into civil engineering at Davis.

my essay was all about middle eastern studies - i got into SD with sociology, irvine with psychology, and davis with organizational studies. i know i am random.

wrote about law (for legal studies at UCB) but got into UCLA political science

I can see it now, apply for math and … … german studies

then go on and on about how you feel german studies is your life purpose. XD

now that i think about it… i wrote my essay based on business. and i applied to cal for econ lol. am i screwed from the get go?

SB dun read your essays

@wwlink - German studies is a respectable major, and Cal’s got the #1 department for it.

I mean, I may end up jobless, but at least I’ll have read Shiller, Goethe and Nitsche! ;-)
