Anyone else?

Is anyone else going to Babson next year?

I'm going to Babson next year!

Where in Ma are you from?

Burlington u?

Lincoln Massachusetts

cool...do you play any sports?

Yes! im going to babson, got accepted ED, what about u?

I was accepted ED too

stats? plz?

SAT: 1280
GPA: 3.5
Class rank: 25/229

waitin for the RD decisions to come up on friday after 5pm

the only thing is im already torn because babson is great but i also got into an accelerated degree program (5 year bs/mba) at drexel. so if i get into babson and drexel its gonna be tough because when u compare, id graduate in 2010 from drexel with my BS, my MBA, and a year of work experience because of the co-op program, plus drexel gave me 16k/year. but then, babson is... BABSON

any advice?

p.s. my stats are
SAT I: 1340 (math 680, verbal 660)
SAT II: Math IIC 730, Writing 680, Chem 630
Good E/Cs: 2 varsity sports, class council, TSA, lots of work experience
Assuming my teachers wrote me great recs

think ill get in?

yeah you'll get in but my advice is go to Drexel. If you can graduate in 5 more years with both a Bachelor's and Masters with a year of work experience and also save money with 16K a year you should definetely go to Drexel. Babson is a good business school but it is not elite by any means.

If you compare the two you will be graduating five years from Drexel with two degrees and a year of work experience and you wills ave money. Whereas at Babson you will be graduating in 4 years with one degree and might get some work experience but you will need to get your Master's.

i got in - and a 16k/year grant

now im torn between babson and drexel - who knows wut ill do, any advice?

I'd say Drexel now. Although you have the grant from Babson too at Drexel you get the extra degree which goes a long way. Although Babson maybe considered better you will already have a master's degree which will put you one notch up. So figure in 5 years you will have both a B.A. and M.A. You can use the time you save from the accelerated program to even get another degree.

Congrats! and good luck where ever you choose

i would choose babson as well, great school and you have the grant

I got in, too; although, I probably won't attend. Congrats, everyone!

I got accepted too, but I don't think I am going to be attending. I know someone who went to Babson and transfered because she really didn't like the social life there. And even though I know college is not all about the social life, I still want a reasonably good one. Also even though I think I am going to go into buisness, I seem to be leaning towards going to a more liberal artsy college or whatever that would be called.

i got accepted too, but im not sure between umd college park and babson. umd let me into a few special programs (honors, international housing, entrepreneurial program) and gave me enough scholarships to bring my annual cost down to zero dollars. babson gave me the pres scholarship, but it still will cost about 23k per year.

anyone have advice as to where i should go?

scagneas - Go to Babson!

I am going to be at Babson next year...

SAT - 1200 (the one test I hate more than calculus tests)
GPA - 4.04W 3.7UW
Rank - 24/490
Lost of business ecs and leadership

Unfortunately, it is becoming known that Babson is slowly loosing its grip on the #1 Entrepreneurship rank.
