Anyone ever declined their SIR and then ask to have it back ?

I declined my SIR to ucla too hastily without really weighting my options... and now i want to go to ucla. Does anyone know how likely they are to let me enroll ?

call their undergrad admissions office ASAP and explain the situation, hurry! tomorrow is already April 30th!!!

I already called and they told me to send an email, which is what i did. i also faxed a copy of it in case they get processed faster. I hope they let me back in =/ im such an idiot for declining -_-

They sure take their time in replying. I sent an email asking them about why my transcript is showing “not received” although its been delivered 2 weeks ago…same with the CFS. They aren’t bothering to reply and I’m getting annoyed now :(

email newbruins@saonet.ucla.edu

You will get a definite response in 1-2 days. Sorry about your situation. If they don’t change the status quick, I don’t think you will be able to make the May 1st deadline.

lol you will get in stop worrying. they already offered you admission they arent gonna take it away that fast.

well i did decline their SIR so thats the only reason as to why im worried. They could just tell me it’s too late to change my mind. i guess ill see tomorrow hopefully. thanks for the comments btw =]

GOOD LUCK!!! Hope it works out for the best, for you

boo they really are taking a long time to answer… still no answer, and tomorrow is the deadline =/

if they dont answer by today, do you think there is any chance they will give my SIR an extension ?

I would call them up right now, and be very desperate and beg them to help you do something abt it.

i just called them and they said they should answer by monday after doing an evaluation of my request… we’ll see
