Anyone ever fail a class while on the TAG program?

i got myself in a quite a predicament and I was wondering if anyone out there could be kind enough to answer a question for me. Please, don't answer if you're not sure what you are talking about.

So, I applied to UCSD and their Tag program.

I'm in dangers of failing 2 classes. Intro to computer science(transferable/assist page course)
and trigonometry(non-transferable/prerequisite)

However, my GPA will still be above 3.0 even if I fail.
in the worst case scenario, I'll have to retake them.
But the thing that is bothering me is, Will my TAG be denied/rejected/revoked/?

my major is psychology.

Please don’t take this as certain advice but, I think UCSD doesn’t give a damn so long as you don’t lose your IGETC. If it won’t affect your IGETC status I’d bet you’re golden.

However, you absolutely must have the UC eligibility requirements. if I’m guessing right, you need some kind of math class and you were taking trig to do that math class. Good luck man! I hope you sort it out.

Good question, does anybody have a more definitive answer?

Do you have your UC transferable math done?

If you are done with all the other requirements, then it won’t matter as long as cumulative gpa is 3.0+

and they also care about the spring gpa, which has to be at minimum, a 2.0.

@wwlink

I met TAG eligibility already (took stats as math), and my TAG was approved. I will complete IGETC after this quarter. I hope you’re right. thanks for the imput

i posted this thread already and everyone assured me that there was nothing to worry about just as long as i retake the classes.

I think you need to have a 2.0 GPA this semester anyway though, good luck! Seriously! They probably won’t give you any trouble about it.
