repeats question

i'm a straight A student, #1 in my class of 680, and i've always taken difficult, difficult classes. i've scored over 700 on all 3 of my SAT II's, but i just can't seem to test well on the SAT. any thoughts? am i hopeless?

You're SAT scores are low, even for a recruited athlete, but I think your otherwise excellent stats can offset the bad SATI's. I say good chances. Perhaps you should take the January test.

I'd think you have two choices:

Retake. (when there is such a disparity between grades/rank and scores, adcoms are likely to question your ability to translate studying into objective results)

Have some badtothebone ECs and a worldclass essay.

beyond that, in your recs have your GC logically explain why there is such a disparity.

wow,

I see you posting this all over the place.

What school are you really interested in?
just curious.
