When I was WAY younger, I started writing a novel. (It was kind of a secret though) I got to about 20 pages or so, until I eventually stopped writing. It REALLY sucked though.

Whenever I try, I get too discouraged thinking that my writing is terrible, so I stop. Then, in a couple years when I find what I’ve written awhile back, I wish I had continued because it really wasn’t that bad, it just needed some editing.

I have such a cool idea for a novel, but I could not do it any time soon… It would be nonfiction.

^really!? do tell. I’m a fiction type o’ gal. My next one is based on a girl’s desire to be perfect.

No thanks. I will never tell my ideas in fears that someone will steal them. I biggest hint I could give is that I would have to do “research” before ever writing something of the sort.

Very smart. I can’t explain my ideas…just because it is hard to,lol.

Research is in quotes because it’s non-academic, by the way.

Lol…I have one ~60 page novel on my computer, with ~10 pages into the sequel…right now starting another one, and I actually might have a plot this time. Might.

nice. I’m gonna logg off now and start my hopefully new novel. :)

Yup. Written five. Working on 6th and 7th simultaneously, which is probably a bad idea, lol. I’m self-published atm. But writing’s just part of my life - keeps me sane in a way ;)

Everyone with MS Word wants to write a novel.

Do graphic novels count?
I stopped after I outlined the first character. Drawing the same characters over and over again and making it resemble each other is really, really hard. I’m not creative enough for novels DDD:

(And the story was stupid overall, also. Any writer wanna collaborate with me? Haha.)

^ are you handwriting it? There is software specificly intended to make what you’re doing less tedious, provided you either scan it in, or invest in a drawing tablet - that you should look in to

*sorry, I meant handdrawing it. My phone keeps trying to edit everything I type.

Ive tried to write a novel

… in second grade…

I used to write short stories in Kindergarten. I have a collection of over 10 of them.

They suck, but they’re funny to read.

I did the Kindergarten stories too! We had to, but even after we stopped having to turn them in I kept writing them and putting them together myself. I think I made like 50 or some ridiculous number, but I edited my collection down to 5.
