<p>Thanks again for all the advice. She didn’t have reservations about Bucknell. The visit there was wonderful. In fact, the visit discredited many of the stereotypes she heard. Friends told her the college was rumoured to have a snobbish vibe, but everyone there was friendly and open. Which is why I think it is so important to visit potential schools. Her opinion of the Greek system and whether she would want to be a part of it could very well change, so that is not a deal breaker, just not a bonus (many students are looking for that in a college, she was not.) While Bucknell was impressive, Juniata felt like home. Both of us were not prepared to like it as much as we did. Up until then, the plan was apply ED to Bucknell.</p>
<p>I agree that she still has time. Maybe we will visit both schools again in Fall.</p>
