Anyone familiar with MFA-Interactive Media?

Hi there, I'm a year 2 student (which equals to year 3 in America) in Hong Kong.

Being a game designer has been my dream for years, and I think Interactive Media is the right program for me. When I read the descriptions and courses on the official webpage my face became like this --> ~(≧▽≦)/~
But......after searching for more information about USC Cinema, my face turned like this --> O_O .......coz the acceptance rate of the whole USC Cinema is really low, according to some websites.

So...my question is, since Interactive Media has little to do with making traditional "film", and USC Cinema is well known for its film-related programs, I wonder if the competition of Interactive Media applicants is as fierce as other MFA programs in USC Cinema? Does anyone know the number of applicants?

Many many thanks ~~

The Undergraduate Interactive Media program accepts 10 people out of thousands… I would imagine the MFA program is just as competitive, if not more. The acceptance rate for SCA has been cited as anything 2-5% and there are no official percentages out so no one can really answer that question. :/

This program is highly competitive. Apply. You may have the creativity, imagination and talent that USC seeks. Take time with your application when the time comes. It is advisable to apply also to other programs where your chances of acceptance are higher.
